Mr. Summerstein, it turned out, was quite a ham, and they brought him back to sing other pieces of his name (full name--George Martin Summerstein. How the hell do I remember this??) There was an obligatory oompa-pah introduction, too, created by some folks named Ompa and Paar, respectively. If it helps, the "tootsie-wootsie" before the final "In the good..." came from folks named "Tootsie" and "Woosey". If someone told me the rest of the real words to the song, I think I could recall what they did to it. The only bad kludge they had was from some plural word in the middle: They could only find people with the singular as their name, so they brought two of them. The die-hard "I've got a secret" fan remembers that for at least two seasons they misplaced the apostrophe ("Iv'e") in the name as it appeared on some curtain or other. -- *** *** JE MAINTIENDRAI ***** ***** ****** ****** 26 Jul 85 [8 Thermidor An CXCIII] ken perlow ***** ***** (312)979-7753 ** ** ** ** ..ihnp4!iwsl8!ken *** ***
