    In some source code, we see #ifdef USG ... 
    What is USG?  Is it somehow connected to Bell Labs (it is normally 
paired with #ifdef BSD).  I assume there was a Unix System Group in Bell
Labs once apon a time??  Is this correct?

    If someone can shed some insite to the question, I would be gratefull.
