I rented some beta hifi movies and played them on my vcr and used my friends vcr to record them. I connected the vcr's using the video and audio jacks. The sound quality is great but the picture has a grainy texture to it. I tried adjusting the sharpnes and tracking controls on both vcr's but it did not seem to help. Does any one have any comments on this problem? would connecting the vcr's via the coax be better? Heads are clean.Picture quality from tv recordings is excellent. 2) Our local cable company is offering the movie channel in stereo. They hook up the stereo signal to your fm tuner. What are the recording or sound differences in fm stereo verses beta hifi tape copying? Are there difference?
