I am looking for any packages runing under Unix (4.2bsd) that
support free text retrieval ala. Dialog.  You know, the sort of
thing that permits you to store text entries and then e.g.
retrieve all entries with the word unix in them.
I want it to put together an unstructured filing system index
for my own personal use
