By what stretch of reasoning do you imply the to HELL with the kid
attitude. 
Is there any really good reason why the father should not have to make
a choice between caring for a child and working or providing
day care  etc.?
Why is the implicit assumption in your statement that the woman is
in the wrong  and the man is not?
