Another machine I've looked at appearing worthy of consideration is
the new Kaypro 2000.  Its an MS-DOS machine with a 24 line by 80 col
display.  Also has built-in 3.5" disk (720kb) and comes with 256KB
memory (expandable to 768kb).  An RS232-serial port is standard as is
a 100 pin providing IBM PC bus or 5.25" disk drive connections. A base
unit extender is available which accepts IBM PC boards.  It weighs
11.5 pounds and has an optional built-in modem.  Cost with modem is
about $2K.  Comes with Wordstar, GW-Basic, communications software and
MS-DOS.
