Applicants must have earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, know several high level programming languages and have experience with Unix and/or VAX/VMS. Applicants must be self-motivated, independent and interested in being part of a Computer Science research effort. The department has a network of several VAX-11/785's, VAX-11/750's and Symbolics Lisp Machines as well as special purpose hardware.
