Prof. Mark Konishi's bioacoustic lab at Caltech has an opening in
digital sound synthesis. The lab conducts behavioral and
neurophysiological research with birds. The job involves assembling
computer hardware and software for real-time digital sound analysis
and synthesis. An ideal candidate would have an EECS /
computer-engineering backround and a strong interest in learning about
and becoming involved in biological and neuophysiological research.
The appointment may be at the postdoctoral, graduate, or technician
level.
