They maintain a large database and have a logical name for every file. When we converted to VMS 4.2 (from 3.7) they run out of process dynamic memory. This leads to some very strange errors when you run programs that use libraries other than VMSRTL. How do I allocate more space? I changed CLISYMTAB (or something like that) with no improvement. There is a /special sysgen parameter that might do the trick (CTLPAGES), but I am hesitant on changing anything that isn't documented. Anyone know what to do? Marty Sasaki (sasaki@harvard)
