Unity runs on a VMS vax and gives the users the option of a UNIX operating system environment at login. It worked great with VMS V3.* but the new version of UNITY to run on our 780 @4.1 has enough bugs to make it almost useless! Problems we have encountered include... permission denials when using VI inability of CAT to convert files doesn't count number of UNITY users properly ...and more. I have dealt with HCR (Human Computing Resources) about these bugs but without success. There must be other sites with this product... Are we alone??
