I have a Super Blackhawk in .44 mag with the factory 'dragoon' style grips. This weekend I shot some pretty hot (Winchester super-X) loads and now I think that my right second knuckle is going to fall off. Actually, it's the fault of the trigger guard (squared off). But I think that if I can get a better set of grips (ones that aren't so 'skinny') my hand won't slide up so far and get the %$#^&$%@!! knocked out of it. I know. Shoot more mild loads you say. But I *like* to shoot hot loads! Anyway, any tips appreciated. I need my hands for typing.
