I keep hearing contractions regarding which CD players follow the Phillips "quad-sampling, 2 D/As, etc" idea. I know Nakamichi does. I hear Mission and Meridian do, and I hear they don't. Who out there knows the real story? What I'd really like to do is compile a list of manufacturers AND MODEL NUMBERS for all CD players that do their thing this way. So...if you know about a CD player that does this, would you please let me know? Don't bother telling me both Naks do (I already know that), but anything else is fair game. I'll happily post my results in a few days. (If someone has already done this, would you mind reposting your results?) Thanks!
