I have just purchased a Passport radar detector from Cincinatti Microwave
and I am about to go on a cross coutry trip.  Could someone tell me which 
states have enacted laws banning the use/possession of radar detectors?

I am aware that they are illegal in Virginia and I have heard (here) that
there is legislation pending in New Jersey. I am not interested in debating
the legality/ethics/morality of such devices. I am simply requesting 
information.
