I also got properly aligned halogen head-lights on my car, but I have never received any blink at all. My auxiliary driving lights and fog lights are exactly for people like you. They are properly aimed too - right to the height of the eyes. My recommendation is that maybe your "perfectly aligned" isn't that perfect at all. Boy, I wish I'd meet you on the road one day!
