My inquiry concerns your opinion of the bicycle carrier that you own-use-love-hate-trash-etc. Why did you buy it, what was the price you paid, has it thrown your bike (have you heard of the same model throwing someone elses bike), how satisfied are you with the way it mounts to the auto, has it marred/scratched the paint (bike and/or car), and what about buying one through the mail. There are three models (this should give you a start) that I have seen which look promising. They are: Yakima Thule La Prealpina (LP) As in the first paragraph, opinions, thoughts, etc. on these three models are needed and appreciated. Respond by email or through the net. Thank you!
