There is no need for concern about tartar sauce coming from some
poor, helpless animal. The true source of tartar, the basic
ingredient, is dentists' offices worldwide.

Where do you think all that tartar goes when you get your teeth
cleaned and spit all that gunk into their little sink? Have you ever
wondered why it is a special sink, and not like your bathroom sink
at home? All the tartar and saliva goes down a special drain into
a reservoir where the tartar is separated from the rest of the saliva
and is sold to the commercial processors to make tartaric acid and
tartar sauce with. I won't tell you what is done with the rest of
the spit.
