I first saw one of the books (in French) when a traveler from CERN was showing
his off in 1980 or 81. Flights of Fancy was originally published as Si On
Voliat?  by Librarie Classique   Eugene Belin, Paris.

The ONLY bookstore of those that I frequent well stocked enough to have this
was the Stanford (campus) bookstore.
