I've got to agree, it's rare when you see a scooterist wearing a helmet.
Perhaps one in 10 or 15, from my experience here in L.A.  A while back
I came up next to a helmeted scooterist at a traffic light.  She must've
been about 60 and she really liked her wheels.  You meet the nicest
people on a Honda...
