I long ago came to the conclusion that the people who design the winter coats that I end up wearing never actually have to spend much time outside. Most likely, their maximum exposure to the elements comes from walking across the parking lot to their cars. If a person who designed a winter coat was required to spend one hour each week wearing that coat in a refrigerated wind tunnel (simulated bus-stop conditions), the state of the art would probably improve. -- David Canzi This has been a test of the emergency broadcasting sytem. It was only a test. Repeat: only a test. If this had been a real emergency, you would be dead.
