I always had the reverse problem. I love to play my stereo loud, and late at night. I always had a problem with my neighbors when I lived in an apartment. It's not that I want to harass anybody, it's just that for me turning the volume up increases my enjoyment of the music. The solution was for me to go and buy my own house, and I make all the noise I want to at 2 a.m.
