Once in a while, the system screws up, and a decent, honest person is elected
to office.  6 years is too short a time to have such a person.

Worse, the proposed fix merely ensures that the Congressmen need to *really*
grease it up for their brief term in office.  If you don't have 20 years to
spread out enough pork from the barrel, then, you just lay it on thick in 6.

The only solution is to educate people to the point where they believe that
the right choice isn't the one who promises the most toys for his district,
regardless of their cost to everyone else (including his district's children).
