In the new hack (1.0.3), engraving Elbereth seems to be almost useless.
In the old version, you could throw things while on Elbereth and not have
the monsters attack you.  Because of this, the speleologist was a very good
class.  He had an endless supply of rocks and could throw them at monsters
while standing on Elbereth.  This made the Speleologist a very good class to
play.  Now Elbereth is only good for resting when down on hit points (albeit
its a pretty nice feature).

By the way, how is 1.0.3 different from 1.0.2?
