     A few questions about Hack.

1) How does one train the dog to do useful things?

2) How does one read a fortune cookie?

3) How much is food consumption increased when wearing a ring?  

4) What are some of the best/worst rings/scrolls/potions/wands to look out for?

5) I read that it was possible to start teleporting at will when a wizard 
   achieves sixth level or anyone else reaches tenth level.  My wizard reached
   tenth level.  I put on a ring of teleport control and tried ^t and ^T.  It 
   returned unrecognized commands, but a few move later, I got the prompt
   where would you like to teleport to.  I gave a position using the cursor keys
   and hit ".".  I promptly teleported to somewhere else, and it said sorry!
   I had eaten a tengu.  I am hacking with version 1.0 preliminary version.

6) If anyone has a hints file, I would appreciate it very much if
   they would forward me a copy.

7)  I got down to level 26, which was a maze, but I was unable to find the 
    stairway down to the next level.  I think I searched the level thoroughly.

8)  Finally, how deep can one expect to find the amulet.
