Speaking of strange devices, remember the Batman episode with the Joker
where the Joker used a "Surfing Knowledge and Ability Transferometer" to
steal an expert surfer's surfing ability?  Or the postage stamp machine
(I believe) that turned the Green Hornet and Kato into giant postage
stamps?
