I have been studying possible definitions and general properties of such generalized Markov fields, and I want to find possible applications of such a theory in Image Processing and Scene Analysis. I am in particular interested in results similar to Baum's algorithm for computing a hidden Markov chain given noisy observations. I am planning to write something on the subject, but before that I want to know what has already been done in that direction. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- maldoror@prlb2.UUCP {enea,hirst1,inria,mcvax,munnari,philabs,seismo,unido}!prlb2!maldoror Christian Ronse Philips Research Laboratory Brussels Av.
