My sole source is an old ARRL FM and Repeaters Manual and the diagram describing it is for a single halfwave array. I would like to add more sections to increase the gain but do not understand how this is accomplished. The diagrammed array from the bottom to the top consists of: a 1/4 wave stub (for reducing feedline radiation), a 1/4 wave section, a 1/2 section, another 1/4 wave, and finally a 1/4 whip at the top. What I want to do is to add more sections for a higher gain figure but do not know which sections to duplicate. Do I add just more 1/2 wave sections or do I need to add 1/4 wave sections along with the 1/2 wave sections? Any and all help appreciated. TNX 73 Phil Biehl, N7FWL 503-685-2122 tektronix!shark!philb
