re:  While studing for my Tech test, I found a strange question in the question
pool.  The question is, What is the 12 meter band?  The answer was, 24.79
to 24.99.  Is this a Ham band?

Effective 0001 utc june 22, 1985 the following 12 meter freqs. and emissions:

24,890 to 24,930   a1 and f1
24,930 to 24,990   a1, a3, a4, a5, f3, f4, and f5
