He used to work for PERQ Systems Corporation (formerly Three Rivers Computer) which used to manufacture a powerful personal workstation (they predated the Sun and Apollo and VAXStation) which runs a state-of-the-art message- passing, multi-processing operating system. Mike got a BSc in Math (actually computer science) from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in 1979. He worked for Harris Corporation and then at PERQ. His experience is in various areas: Compilers: Pascal compiler with symbollic debugging and optimization Portable C compiler. Pascal to C translator. Operating Systems: General development. Networking: Various projects on Ethernet and RS232 Message Server gateway. Mike has worked as a software engineer and as a project leader managing 5 people.
