ASG, San Diego, CA. Lines: 31 It seems that two brothers, of English heritage, decided to visit the United States. One brother was hard of hearing (they are both in their early 50's) so he relyed on his brother for help. Well the plane lands and after customs, the brothers finally find them- selves on the streets of New York. Cecil, the one who can hear, flags down a cab and he and Nigel get inside. The visitors and the cabbie start talking and the cabbie stated that during the war he was stationed in England. "What did he say?" shouted Nigel. "He said he was in England during the war." replyed Cecil calmly. The cabbie starts to reminisce about a town just outside of London. "What?" inquired Nigel. "He said he has been to Stratford." was the polite reply. "Ya," dreamed the cabbie "I remember this one house on the north side of town that had a white picket fence, green shutters and a huge tree in the front." Cecil seeing that Nigel was struggling to hear leaned over and said that the cabbie spent time in there neck of the woods. "But I mostly remember this one beautiful woman with the prettest eyes, happiest nature, who loved to enterain servicemen and sometimes they would make love allnight long in the most passionate ways." Stated the cabbie. Cecil turns to Nigle and says, "He says he knows mother."
