2 things we've found about bottle-feeding our breast-fed kids:

my wife has a harder time bottle feeding than i do, regardless of how
the baby is held; it seems that baby's hear, feel and smell the difference

our 7-1/2 month old son is very touchy about the temperature of what he
gets from a bottle.  room temp won't do, and just out of the fridge is
out of the question.  our other 2 got used to drinking it cold when
necessary.
