You really have to love your kids to discipline them. You cannot let a 6 year old make all his own decisions for himself knowing that the 6 year old does not have any idea what the best decision is for him- self. Put a gallon of ice cream and a plate of food in front of him and tell him to eat what he wants and watch what he does, do this everyday for a year and chances are he will be hopelessly brain damaged through malnutrition. If he cannot get up for school due to lack of sleep will you then let him stay home? You've got to be kidding. ps. you better catch up on your sleep.
