Hello everyone.  I would really appreciate it if someone out there
could help a mathophobic such as myself.  I need code (in any
language! (except Basic/Forth)) for a spline and least squares
curve fit.  I am writing a graphics package and need to do curve
smoothing.

Anyone out there good with math and programming please put this
poor MOP out of danger so he can get back to reinventing the
wheel for his employer.
