In particular I am wondering if you have encountered compatibility problems between the 8086 and 80286 microprocessors. Have all your software application programs and operating systems run perfectly the first time on the 286 when they were written for the 086? If not, why not? I am interested in detail. Was the problem easy or hard to fix? Please mail back and I will summarize or call collect at (408) 721-6400. I appreciate your reply. Thanks very much. *** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE ***
