I have been told that the Amiga has  C compiler and a good set of
development tools.   I heard it was Lattuce C.   Would anyone please
comment on the tools,  Also I heard that the C compiler had to be used on
an IBM PC, then cross compiled to the Amiga,  is that true?  or is it
native to the Amiga.   I will be getting mine in 6 weeks from now
and want to know as much as I can about what I am getting myself into
as far as development of software.   I certainly dont want to plunk
down $1500 plus $500 for a C compiler that will only run on an IBM PC
Any summary on the development tools would be appreciated.
