I am in the process of looking for a 1200 baud modem for my Apple II+.
I do not need anything fancy, just something that will communicate at
1200 baud.  Auto-dial, etc. are not necessary.  Price IS a big factor.
The primary use will be for communications with a VAX and upload/download
from bulletin boards.  Can anyone recommend something that fits my needs?  

On a specific note, I have seen mail-order ads for the Anchor Volksmodem
1200 for about $150.  Does anyone have any experience with this one?
