Apple/// printer interfaces are generally pretty simple.
There is a dealer program floating around called
"Drivers Aid", which has most of the popular drivers
for any peripheral on it, and it is menu driven.
I use a NEC 7700Q spinwriter, I know people using
virtually any name-brand printer. I've been hearing
very favorable commentary on the Star Geminis, Qumes,
Epsons, Necs, Brothers, etc.
