It came in a floppy with Micro Emacs ( by Mark Williams Co.) This is just a quickie, as I have not even printed out the tutorial for micro_emacs yet, but am too excited about it to keep quiet. Differences from MINCE. ====================== 1 Arrow keys work as you'd expect. 2 ^X2 creates a new window, but you re not limited to two. 3 ^X^B displays active buffers in a new window (like emacs and unlike mince). 4 has keyboard macros (^X( and ^X) ). 5 The manual looks (I glanced at it with ``more'') complete. I actually uploaded the manual, ( >120000 bytes) so that I can get a hard copy, but with kermit it took me an hour (9600baud connection). It took only 90 minutes to upload a document of nearly the same size with a 1200 baud modem (so where's the bottleneck?). There will be more later, unless someone else posts/mails a review before I get around to it.
