San Diego, Academic Computer Center Lines: 13 I had been thinking about a 256k expansion for the 800xl I bought in a firesale for $45.00, but somebody's beat me to it. Check the current issue of Byte (Sept.) for details. It uses 256k memory chips and a handful of glue chips for decode & refresh. Should be able to build it for about $50.00. Ramdisk software is provided on that stupid BBS system that Byte runs instead of printing code for articles. I find this an annoying policy that Byte adopted so that it has room for even more ads. This sure beats a 130XE: you've got room for 2 full single density ramdisks, or 1 DD ramdisk. If anyone gets a copy of the software, please post. Paul van de Graaf sdcsvax!sdcc3!ee161bep U. C.
