Does anyone know what the compatibility problem is between the VIC-20
and MPS801 printer. The printer's box states "C64 use only." 

I notice that it drops some of the first five lines of characters and
then prints OK for the rest of the pages of text. The printer works OK
with my C64. I use a secondary address of 7 when opening the printer
channel.

What is the fix?
