Well I finally got around to downloading that pack of four DA's
posted a while back that contained  a "scientific calc",
"financial calc", "Paint Grabber" and "Key Caps".  Well the last
two worked (except its the old version of Key Caps, incompatible with
Apple's Font/DA Mover).  But, as the flamage stated a while back, the
calc's were sure-fire bombs (nothing 'resume' couldn't handle though).
Well knowing that some DA's that worked on Finder 1.1 don't cut it on 4.1,
I fired up an application and accessed the calculators.  Bingo, two
working calculators.

Now I gotta know, what in the world is the Finder doing ( or not doing )
that wreaks such havoc on DA's?  Mail your answers and I will surely
summarize.
