Perhaps someone else would care to comment on this. I ordered Megamax C from Northeastern 3 weeks ago. They said they had it in stock and I should receive it in 3-4 business days. When it didn't arrive after a week I called them back and was told it had been backordered. The next day I got my charge card bill and found that they had put the charge through dated the day I ordered it. I wasn't too happy about that so I called Northeastern again. They said it was their standard policy to bill when the order is placed even if the items have to be backordered. I thought seriously about cancelling the order at this point but the next best price I could find was $199.00 at Programs Plus so I stuck with Northeastern. Today I was told "it was shipped yesterday". We'll see. --Jamie Painter ARPA: jamie@uw-june.ARPA UUCP: {ihnp4,decvax,tektronix}!uw-beaver!uw-june!jamie
