I answered my own query and just in case anyone else wants to know...it seems that the Dialog Creator appends a space to the end of BoundsRect lines like 100 100 220 340 and the Resource Compiler (and Manx's RGen utility) don't like it, hence the "Bad Number Format" message from the RC, and the "Looking for a Number" message from RGen... Just edit the file, remove all trailing blanks from lines, and things go through just like the should. Tom Milligan
