Lines: 12 Has anyone gotten the DOS(1) commands under Xenix on the PC AT to read the DOS partition on the fixed disk ?? I can get it to read DOS diskettes just fine, but why go through the intermediate diskette when the data you want is on the fixed disk. The commands seem to be hard wired for diskettes. I can read the DOS partition raw disk and see the directory information, so it can't be that hard. Is there any real difference in how DOS stores filesystems between diskettes and the fixed disk ??
