Can anyone advise me on a suitable purchase. I want: No compiler induced bugs. Fast runtime execution, non-numeric application. Capability to handle large programs/data areas. Fast compilation Good documentation Availablity of support tools ( lint, bc ) Good runtime support libraries + source That was in decreasing order of desirability Cost of compiler is not important !! Any suggestions are welcome. ( Apart from forget it ). Andy Philpotts - STC IDEC LIMITED
