Message-ID: <179@batman.UUCP> Date: Wed, 4-Sep-85 22:11:14 EDT Article-I.D.: batman.179 Posted: Wed Sep 4 22:11:14 1985 Date-Received: Fri, 6-Sep-85 11:43:18 EDT Distribution: na Organization: Burroughs Austin Research Center, TX Lines: 28 [eat it] I did a "p" to an article in vnews and got its parent in a newsgroup called "junk". This is evidently where articles from net.micro.amiga, net.database, and net.bizarre go when they get here. My question: Is that Bizarre? Or is it a SA screwup? In addition, like some other sites, I see a lot of net.misc traffic that seems to be from net.bizarre (bizarre place names in particular). My question: Is this another SA screwup? Finally, I've noticed some ROT13-ed jokes have headers that say "joke header joke header" instead of saying "joke header (ROT13)" My question: Is this a postnews screwup? Finally: I wanted to post this to net.bizarre, but inews choked trying to do it, so here it is in net.misc. My question: Is this yet another SA screwup"? Or did somebody up the line intercept some group creation messages before they got here? -- Gene Mutschler {ihnp4 seismo ctvax}!ut-sally!batman!gene Burroughs Corp.
