	I have the feeling "Barry McKenzie" was a character in a running comic
strip in the British weekly "Private Eye", at least when I was reading it in
the early/mid 1970's.  I haven't looked at an issue for a long time though,
so this is the best information I have.  In the comic, Barry indeed traveled
through the world offending everybody in sight in the grossest way.
