Barry Mackenzie was (is?) the infamous comic strip hero in Private Eye. His favorite occupation was drinking Foster's lager ("Let's shoot a few tubes of frosty Fosters") and consequently throwing up ("techicolour yawn" or "spew a bucket of prawns"). Barry had many other similarly pithy homilies which senility has robbed from what's left of my mind. "The ice cream truck in my neighborhood plays 'Helter Skelter'."
