The most recent recorded Griffin I know of is the Philly Joe Jones and
Dameronia album LOOK STOP AND LISTEN on Uptown Records, released in 1983.
I believe Griffin has moved back to Europe, where he can make a better
living playing jazz than in Europe.

PS Did anybody hear the shocking news that Philly Joe Jones died over the week-end?
SO far as I know he was not sick, and was only in his fifties. What happened?
