I understand that the books are simply abstracted from the main
Groves set.  I suggest your money might be better spent by buying
the whole set: Groves Dictionary of Music and Musicians.  Now
you don't really have to be a millionaire to do this. Just
frequent used book stores, AAUW book sale and the like. I picked up
a set (missing one volume) for next to nothing that way.
