Glad to see that net.music.guitar finally got off the ground; I expect to be a frequent contributor even though I haven't been even a semi-pro guitarist in almost a decade. Now to your question: I examined a representative sampling of 12-strings (acoustic and electric) and noticed no consistent spacing. However, it did seem that the spacing at the bridge was a fairly constant 1.5 times the spacing at the nut. Hope that helps... Andrew W. Rogers P.S.: Any other Danelectro/Coral/Silvertone/whatever else they called 'em fans out there? Love to hear from you!
